The third Wombat�s City Hostel has opened its doors, following the successes of Vienna and Munich. The Lounge in the Mariahilferstra�e of Vienna opened to great success – with 90% occupancy.Cleanliness, style and �social atmosphere�. Using this tried and tested formula, hostellers Sascha B�ck and Marcus Praschinger have opened their third hostel in only seven years, aptly called �The Lounge�. This is their second in Vienna and the third in a German speaking country. Only a couple of metres away from the Westbahnhof in Vienna, the new City Hostel has space for 230 guests in either 2, 4 or 6 bedded dormitories. Every room has it’s own toilet and shower along with individual lockers for each guest.
The Lounge is a blend of uplifting colours which dominate the house and gives it a young and stylish design with a spacious and bright lounge area. With the Lounge, the focus is on Viennese coziness and hospitality. The hostel bar, WomBar, in the cellar of the wombat�s City Hostel, is a great meeting point for parties and functions of all shapes and sizes. The Lounge also offers a host of other services which is an integral part of the wombat�s business philosophy. These include coin operated washing machines, internet hotspots and a pool table. Reception is open 24 hours a day and to welcome you to wombat�s we even offer a free drink at the bar.
Last but not least are the great prices which is the reason for our increased occupancy. The prices at wombat�s CITY HOSTELS vary depending on the time of year and range from � 16 in a 4 bed dorm to � 48 for a single room.
Sascha and Marcus are already planning their next coupe: A Wombat�s City Hostel in Berlin for 2007 and another hostel is in the planning stages for Prague!
