The city of Belfast presents you one of the largest cultural fetivals in Northern Ireland – Ulster Bank Belfast Festival at Queen’s University. The surroundings of theatre, dance, classical music, literature, jazz, comedy, visual arts, folk music and popular music attract more that 60.000 visitors every year.The Ulster Bank Belfast Festival at Queen’s runs from the 16th to 31st of October, 2009. This year the festival highlights the Polish culture and society that are presented by performances of left-wing philosopher Noam Chomsky, Teatr Biuro Podrózy’s daring Macbeth and Polish conductor Valery Gergiev – “The world’s most charismatic conductor” (Financial Times).
