The 11th Budapest Christmas Fair is coming to town. Each year more than 500,000 people visit Winter Festival – a traditional Hungarian annual event. Not without a reason it is considered to be one of the largest Christmas fairs in Europe and the biggest outdoor event of the winter season. So, take a look at what it is all about and you might want to drop by!Between 1st and 24th of December, the days of Advent will be celebrated every day through unique show. Light Shows and live music are especially marked. It is a great and spectacular add-on to every programme. The youngest visitors of the Christmas markets should not be disappointed as well. Puppet shows along with regular programmes in the heated playhouse are presented every weekend! In addition, the fair includes some original attractions: at the craft workshops you can learn the techniques of puppet, gift and gingerbread making. If you cannot choose a gift from millions of wooden toys, hand-blown glass figures, and iron items, you can always make it by your own hands.
