All the members and fitness buffs run not usual marathon, which we know in Europe, they are running up 1093 steps to the 61st floor the Vertical Marathon.
That’s all happening in a very luxury hotel Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali, so the Bankok people will run up to the rooftop Vertigo grill and Moon Bar on the 61st floor, which is one of the highest al fresco restaurants in Asia.
I think is one of the most posh and funniest marathon ever, all the Trophies are presented by the luxury hotel. Banyan Tree Bangogk is getting ready for of the most exciting annual events, this year it will be the 13th Vertical Marathon, the race starts Saturday, the 29th of October!
If you decide to be brave enough and take a part of something so extraordinary and crazy, ho ahead , the registration fee is 350 baht, which is about 8 euros, which includes the official marathon T-shirt and a medal if you make it to the top. Just take a part it’s main goal is to give money to the HIV Formula Feeding Fund, a Thai Red Cross initiative, so you can do a great job, also enjoying it.
