The best time to visit Rome? Is definitely spring, which starts pretty early in here, and to be honest it’s the most wonderful time to spend in this marvelous country. The weather might be a little bit unpredictable, but Rome’s climate in Spring is mostly lovely, starting already from the mid of March…even if this year it’s a bit different, hopefully it will start with 21st , the international Spring day!The trees are blossoming, the flowers are blooming and it’s not yet too hot to set out on an urban trek, you can walk a lot without being tired, sit in the beautiful parks and discover the best monuments of the ancient queen, also the best time for the seasonal meals. There are great seasonal products in Italy for each season, spring is time for fresh, full of vitamins apricots, bananas, cherries, lemons, strawberries, tomatoes , asparagus, beans, chard, chickpeas, beans, fresh garlic, green beans, mushrooms, new potatoes, puntarelle, spinach, truffles, watercress, zucchini … and so many more delicious and exquisite products.
You will be able to order pizza and pasta throughout the year, but there are specific Roman dishes that you will find in certain seasons, like in august you will never find Carciofi Romaneschi, cooked with olive oil, delicious and full of energy, you will find those dishes from the February until May the latest, if in some places you still find them, you know they are imported from somewhere and definitely not as good as they would be from Italy! Italy is a paradise in spring, with everything nature and amazing meals.
