It’s annual traditions, that goes on year by year, visited by all the world, also if Carnival 2014 is globalized, cos each of the culture has drawn its own fantasy and fairy tales…it’s all about the woods, the seas, the mountains, lagoons and valleys, deep themes linked to the relationship between humankind and the environment.
Each year Venice explodes with fun, laughter and happy people all over the city, huge festive crowds fill the salon of Piazza San Marco and thousands of other squares in Venice. Many attractions and events are free, parades, concerts and living history will be more than alive, great entertainment for kids and grown ups, wild all-night dancing, food tasting and other fun things to do and to attend.

The importance of this event is to make fairy tales alive, the importance of fantasy, that lives in each of us, we have to let it out, and carnival is perfect place and time to do that, all kind of fantasies, popular and cultured, esoteric and didactic, and its relationship with humankind and the environment.
Fairy tails from all around the world, gateway between the East and the West, where myths are different of overseas monstrous and surprising creatures were translated into tales, paintings, decorations,that all will be lived through along the canals and the roads scoured by merchants. The beautiful carnival will go on until the 4th of March, you have a plenty of time to fully enjoy the city of Venice, the beauty of Veneto and lagoon area…
