Stunning buildings and lovely old squares
Czech Republic is pretty impressive, considering that it has been around only since 1993, it’s a marvelous place, where history not just show, it becomes real…the castles will amaze like no other place on the planet, those are many, all sizes, illuminating the true stories and the power that comes with years from each family and individuals whose influence has been strong enough to survive through years, still showing off the nation’s current borders. Prague is the capital, pride of every Czech, which has become one of Europe’s most promising and beautiful cities, culturally, touristically and emotionally…Of course, beer is nation’s second pride, some of the best in the world coming directly from the brewery towns of Plzen and Ceske Budejovice. People in here are simple golden, not just yet used to the tourist masses but doing it with a great enthusiasm, being more than helpful and make everyone feel welcome, they are proud of their heritage and getting on their confident feet taking important place in Europe.
If we are talking about Prague’s beauty, it’s equal to Paris, becoming even more excotic for traveler’s eyes. Hot summer days are the favorite ones for every tourist, the bridges such as Charles Bridge will be so crowded, that you will have a feeling, like you are sharing it with half of humanity. Czechs history dates back to a millenium, the Vltava is the lazy river going through Prague, 14th century stone bridges and castles, there are place that are crowded by millions of people, and have inspired many of 19th century classical music genius. Once you get tired of all that beauty, head to one of the cozy bars in the heart of Prague, there is a beer, the best in Europe, which will help you to cool down and absorb the information.
Let’s jump to some art stuff, which are pretty amazing, the famous Gothic altarpieces in the Convent of St Agnes, art nouveau of Alfons Mucha and the outstanding collection of 20th century surrealists and cubists, Prague may not have the power and fame of the Louvre in Paris, but for it’s size and existence, it’s more than magnificent.
All around Prague will be sculpture and cheekbones of cubist facades scattered, waiting to be seen and discovered. Do not just go quickly with camera through all the beauty, get a guide book, read and learn a little bit of the impressive history of Czech Republic. Don’t forget that Praha was once the ancient capital of Charles IV’s Bohemian Kingdom, it has always played an important role in Central Europe since the Middle Ages.
