SOCCER. People in Brazil love soccer, and that’s why they’ve the largest soccer stadium in the world, Maracana. Everybody should have a visit there and see at least one soccer game. The heat, noise and passion are amazing.
BEACHES. Beaches in Brazil are lively, noisy, and full of wet people. Praia da Copacabana is the most famous beach in the world. One section of the beach is a gay section, known as Stock, and you’ll identify it by a rainbow flag.
SAMBA. Carnival, the world’s biggest party in Rio is arranged every year. Everybody loves the rhythm, and samba is preferred to been danced to been watched.
SIGHTS. Pao de Acucar (Sugarloaf) is incredible. The view from the peak of Rio is breath-taking, especially during the sunset in a clear day. You can be convinced there about the fact that Rio de Janeiro is the most beautiful city in the world. Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer) is a statue on top of the mountain Corcovado. At night, the brightly lit statue can be seen from all over the city. It’s highly recommended to go up to the mountain to see this stunning statue and spectacular sceneries.
ACTIVITIES. In addition to samba, you can also have other activities. Cycling is a great and cheap way to see Rio. Surfing is very popular and boards do not cost a lot. Hand-gliding and helicopter flights are more extraordinary but absolutely unforgettable ways to enjoy the city.
NATURE. Floresta da Tijuca is all that’s left of rainforest that once surrounded Rio de Janeiro. In a few moments you can move from a concrete city to a beautiful green forest of Tijuca with wonderful plants and waterfalls.
