Italy Farm Stay

Abruzi National Park
Come and enjoy the charm of rural Italy!
This is a real, authentic agriturismo. A self-sufficient Organic Farm, well-served by buses and trains, right between Rome and Naples (around 2 hours from both cities) in Abruzzi National Park – the oldest national park in Italy. The park is one of the most important and beautiful parks in the whole of Europe – unique endangered species can be found there such as marsicam bears, wolves, lynx, and golden eagles. We are located on a 12 acre farm that includes a forest, vineyard, olive grove, and meadows for pasture.

On the farm we have many animals including goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, rabbits, bees, dogs and a beautiful donkey – the mascot of the farm, everybody gets to love her. We produce olive oil, wine, and honey. We grow a variety of vegetables and fruits that guests are welcome to pick and eat for free. Our meals are home-made, traditional, and delicious. We often make handmade pasta, pizza, pies, and cakes for our guests to enjoy.

We arrange exciting activities such as hiking in Abruzzi National Park, horseback riding, Italian cooking courses, Italian language classes, Para-gliding, yoga, visit to the cheese making shepherd, searching for mushrooms, asparagus, or truffles with our dogs.

In our farm you will find a relaxing and nice atmosphere, you will be able to take a break from the chaotic and touristy cities and immerse yourself in the Italian countryside.

We have a large park along the creek where people can spend their time reading or relaxing. There are also beautiful trails around the farm where you can hike on your own. The town of Sora is an easy 40 minute walk from the farm where you can walk along the main street, sample real Italian gelato, visit the many shops, bars, and restaurants, or walk up to an old castle.

We look forward to seeing you at the little farm on the foot of the mountain!
