Paris in December 2008
There’s plenty to keep you busy in Paris during the months of December. From catching the famous Moulin Rouge show, taking in all the must-see sights, or going to see any one of the upcoming concerts from big international acts such as Stereolab, The Streets, Tricky, The Dandy Warhols or Elton John, you won’t be stuck for entertainment.For those interested in seeing some art, currently showing is the Paris International Photo Fair, an annual event which is held to inspire amateur photographers, and encourage the appreciation of photography as an art form.
Held on the 2nd of December, the Prix Culinaire Pierre Taittinger is a culinary event not to be missed. Hosted by La Concorde Lafayette Hotel, it is an invitational exhibition showcasing a selection of top gourmet chefs from around Europe.
Once the festive season hits, be sure to wander down Champs-Elysees to see all the shop windows lit up with stunning Christmas lights and decorations.
