July 13, 2009-March 6, 2010
The legendary King of Pop, Michael Jackson, will be performing for 50 nights starting this July at the O2 Arena in London, England. Michael has announced that this will be his last time performing in London and the first morning tickets went on sale, his first full set of shows sold out immediately. His last completed studio album, Invincible, was released in 2001 and he last performed live in Britain in 2006 for the World Music Awards, singing a few lines from We Are the World. Michael Jackson is one of the most internationally known, best-selling artists of all time, having been in the spotlight starting at age five.

For Michael’s millions of loyal fans, his magic and talent remains and has never faded. A chance to see him perform live, singing and dancing to classics such as Thriller, Billie Jean and The Way You Make Me Feel excites many, even prompting fans to sleep outside the venue overnight to secure tickets for the first set of shows. Michael’s last major tour was the HIStory World Tour in 1996-1997. In 2008, a 25th anniversary edition of Thriller was released, complete with remixes. Michael turned 50 in 2008 and can’t wait to get back onto the stage again to perform for his fans, who he’s always expressed gratefulness towards.
