IV Edition 15th of October to 23rd 2009
This year will be the fourth year of the city’s leading film festival. The name of the festivals may have changed several times over the years but that hasn’t effected on its growing popularity with film lovers from across the globe. Now known as Festival Internazionale del Film di Roma (in English,International Rome Film Festival), the event is set to take place from the 15th of October to 23rd 2009. After earlier years steering more towards American influence in film, this year is set to be a lot more Italian focused.With A-List celebrities set to travel to Rome for the event, the opportunity to go star spotting couldn’t be more easier! Some of the names confirmed on the guest list include George Clooney, Monica Bellucci and Colin Farrell to name but a few. And all will be ready to grace the iconic and glamorous red carpet.
With tickets going on sale from 28th September you’ll have to be quick in order not to miss the chance to take part in this amazing event. The main place to buy tickets is the Auditorium Parco della Musica ticket office in Viale P. de Coubertin. This is also where many of the events for the festival will take place. This is a must see event for all you film lovers out there!
