Christmas is one of the most eagerly anticipated holidays all over the world. However, the Pre-Christmas period could be a fantastic time as well! Start to celebrate earlier as the capital of Ireland is getting ready to entertain its guests. Celebrating its fifth anniversary this year, the 12 Days of Christmas festival will be held on Dublin’s George’s Dock from 12th to 23rd of December 2009. A city presents a wide range of events, premier shops, traditional restaurants, open-air markets and fairs that will make you feel the warmth and joy of the festive season.12 nights to Christmas day will pass by immediately as Dublin offers a colorful variety of evening programmes that can entertain both: the young and the old. Evening program is divided into the early show (that is held between 20.00 and 23.00) and late show (23.00 and after). The live music concerts, DJs performances and street shows will definitely shake the city. Dublin offers 24 hours lasting fun. More than 50 artists and music performers are waiting for you. It’s easy to get caught up in the atmosphere the festival creates.
Festival closing party will take place at Dublin’s Village Venue, on the 23rd of December, 2009. The featuring guest is Northern Irish DJ, musician and composer – David Holmes. It is probably the best closing event of the festival and the best opening party of the Christmas holiday. There is no place like Dublin, there is no event like 12 Days of Christmas festival!
