Auckland International Buskers Festival

Fabulous and dynamic groups of international and professional street performers will be hitting the streets of Auckland, as the hottest busking acts will be showed off in the city that knows how to entertain. Between the 29th of January and 1st of February Auckland International Buskers Festival of 2010 will be celebrating its 11th edition! All are welcome as the event is free of charge. Let your wallet rest and don’t forget to take a look at the vide variety of events and performers that will make you to relax and laugh out loud.

Auckland – a whole country in one place


Acrobats, street musicians, jugglers, mimes, magicians, and comedians will come together to create a special event in the hottest spot of New Zealand. The organizers are going to transform the streets stretching from the Viaduct to Vulcan Lane into a playground and a stage that will host the new and well known world’s talents. The program is schedules to take place everyday from 12pm till 8 and 10 pm. the shows running from 7.30pm are considered to be night shows, therefore you will be entertained even during the late hours.

The performers of Auckland’s 10th Annual Buskers Festival will include: Ben Zuddhist – British talent of a classical performance, Pat-Trick – a bit of Irish charm, MANX – Australian master sword swallower, Spanish artist Anthony Livingspace, fire eater from USA Eric Cash and many others. The long weekend will pass by fast with lots of fun and enjoyment. Mix it with a summer weather and doze of sun. It is truly hard to resist. So, stop trying!

Even though Auckland is a small city, it is said to be a whole country in one place. You can find everything you need and everything you want.
