The New Zealand International Arts Festival

The New Zealand International Arts Festival is a biennial multi-arts festival featuring various kinds of theater, music, dance, litterature and visual arts events. Held in the capital city, Wellington, the festival, it is known as New Zealand’s premier and largest cultural event. International Arts Festival 2010 is providing a four weeks lenght enterntainment that will be taking place from 26th of February until 21st of March 2010. The heart of the Festival is announced to be the Pacific Blue Festival Club, situated at waterfront of Wellington. Festival 2010 is bringing award-winning theatres. The programe includes the “Sound of Silence” – a play without words that aims to explore the social utopia of 60s; an award-winning interactive production “Apollo 13: Mission Control” that is promising to take you to the space and even more. Dance program features “Sutra” – the performance full of movements and acrobatical show elements. Furthermore, the festival will be a true delight to the melomans. They should not miss the concert if Jegendary jazz diva – Nina Simone.
