Fast cars and checkered flags! The Formula One season is about to start. Testing sessions have been confirmed for two Spanish cities: Valencia (Between the 1st and the 3rd of February, 2010), and Barcelona (25th – 28th of February, 2010). The 61st Formula One season is presenting a fabulous new. The season will feature the return of the prime-class driver in the sport with Michael Schumacher coming out of retirement after a three year absence.


Formula One, the highest class of auto racing has its roots in the European Grand Prix motor racing of the 1920s and 1930s. However, what we can see now is result of its long development. Formula One season consists of a series of races (Grands Prix) held on special circuits, former public roads and closed city streets. Emotions, adrenaline and speed (up to 360 km/h) made Formula One a massive media event, with a huge global audience.



The real race in Valencia will be held on the 27th of June, 2010. If you don’t want to miss the event, make sure you book the tickets in advance. Last year, Jenson Button (McLaren) became 2009 World Champion. Who will be on the top in top in 2010? A lot of names, great teams and talented drivers, but only one winner. Stay tuned!
