Along the the Great Wall of China, the Berlin Wall was one of the longest structures ever built to keep people separated. The 9th of November, 1989 is the date the Wall fell. Presently, not a lot of the Wall is remained at its original site. Many segments have been given to various institutions (universities, museums, governmental buildings) all around the world since its fall.
