Tower Bridge is the most famous bridge in London, a real achievement of Victorian engineering, and looks great, especially at night when it’s well illuminated. Tower Bridge is sometimes mistakenly referred to as London Bridge, which is actually the next bridge upstream. Taking photographs of the Tower bridge is a favorite London tourist activity, but you can also go inside the bridge, where you’ll have a magnificent view over London from the walkway between the two bridge towers. The south tower contains The Tower Bridge Museum where among other things, the original Victorian steam-driven machinery which was used to raise and lower the bridge, can be found.
