Largest tourist destination in Indonesia
The majestic island of Bali is located in Indonesia in the west end of the Lesser Sunda Islands between Java and Lambok. Bali is the largest tourist destination in the country and for good reason.

The island is renowned for its highly developed arts, including traditional and modern dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking, and music. It is also one of the most beautiful places on earth with its mesmorizing beaches and landscape.

Most tourist visit the town of Kuta due to its lovely beaches. Kuta was originally a fishing town but has become the hot spot for travellers from all over the world so there is a lot of restaurants and entertainment shops to visit.

Bali is by far the most friendly island in Indonesia. Bali even received the Best Island award from Travel and Leisure in 2010. It might be small but it has a lot to offer.

You can enjoy a relaxing day by the ocean side with a massage or a walk through the Monkey Forrest in Ubud. The flora and fauna will keep you captivated you might walk across the island before you realize it.

Balinse culture is rich with Hindu influences and the performing arts often portrays stories from Hindu epics such as the Ramayana. There is also numerous temples and shrines to visit.

The Tirtha Empul Temple in the middle of Bali is famous for its Holy water where Hindu Bali people go for purification. The Pura Taman Ayun is another popular temple surrounded by gardens and rich nature.
