Cologne in Germany is located on both sides of the Rhine River in Germany, Cologne is Germany’s 4th largest city and is well-known for many reasons, particularly in the areas of religion and education. With 10 million inhabitants, Cologne is host to one of the oldest and largest universities in Europe, thus proving to be a very popular university city.

The famous Cologne Cathedral was a focal point of interest back in 2005 when the city hosted World Youth Day as well as being the seat of the Catholic Archbishop of Cologne. Inside some spectacular stained glass designs will invigorate your eyes with delight.

Cologne’s art and cultural scene is alive and kicking, with approx. 30 museums and hundreds of galleries for tourists, locals and art lovers in general. The Cologne Trade Fair is held annually in the city, showcasing everything local businesses have on offer.
