Haven’t convinced you yet? How about a bath in a hot springs while this year the spring is playing with us and the weather still is not as we expected?

Already ancient Romans knew that a long journey up to western side of river Danube was worth the effort. The recompense for travel was delightful – a SPA, which actually stands for latin words Salus Per Aquam (health through water).During Roman Empire this wellness centre was called Aquincum, and it’s believed that Marcus Aurelius may have written a part of his Meditations there. Also part of baths were constructed during Turkish times (remember famous turkish baths?) and in 1934 Budapest got the title of the City Of Spas! Over 70 million of thermal water everyday in 118 spas!

Budapest pools are fun no matter how old are you. Starting from Margaret Island which is a place for everyone – medieval ruins, small zoo, pool with attractions for the youngest – whirlpool, wave-pool, water chutes, playground and many other.

For those who are looking for a crazy party there is the Magic Bath – a club in a pool!! Every Saturday you can come and splash to the rhythm of music. If you are looking for something more sophisticated then visit some luxury hotel as Ramada Plaza, which offers full wellness menu. Do not get cold, come to Budapest and relax in hot springs!
