Chinese have different New Year’s dates and celebration traditions, this year it falls in 31st of January, the following is the listing of Chinese New Year Day based on China time zone.The celebration is also known as the Spring festival, starting on the 23rd day of the 12th lunar month of the Chinese calendar, the festival goes on for about 23 days.

What Chinese do to prepare their homes for the celebrations? They clean them until they spark, putting red posters with poetic verses on it to their doors, Chinese New Year pictures on their walls, and decorate their homes with red lanterns. They visit their families and friends, is more like Christmas for Europeans. In the eve of the Spring Festival many people will head on the streets to set off fireworks and firecrackers, hoping to cast away any bad luck and bring forth good luck. The traditions is to wear brand new clothes…they beat drums and dance dragon and lion dances.
