Bangkok, charming and passionate

Impressive city
Not only the capital, but also the spiritual, political, cultural and economic centre of Thailand, Bangkok has a special place in our minds that’s reserved only for wild and adventurous destinations. And that’s what Bangkok is: exotic, chaotic, colourful charming and passionate. With over eleven million inhabitants, the city is a mix of traffic jam, heat and energetic nightlife, not to mention the modern atmosphere and the beautiful temples.

But Bangkok is more organized and safe than it seems, being one of the most traveller friendly capitals in Asia. The perfect visit will include the best the city has to offer: some of the modern, a bit of traditional, a visit to a temple, enjoying the nightlife, eating the amazing cuisine and going to a street market.

The city’s most famous landmark, the Grand Palace, home of the kings for 150 years has an impressive architecture, leaving every visitor in awe. Within the palace complex there are some fantastic buildings, including the Wat Phra Kaew temple, hosting the famous Emerald Buddha, whose golden clothes are changed every season by the King himself.

Another must to go is the Wat Arun, the temple of the dawn at the bank of the Chao Phraya River, a unique and spectacular Buddhist temple with particular architecture and colourful adornments, considered one of the most beautiful in Thailand. The river and the canals are also important part of Bangkok, giving the name of “Venice of the East” to the city.

There’s a unique floating market going on on those canals, with vendors sailing theirs canoes filled with tropical fruits and vegetables, food being cooked right on the canoes , flowers and many other stuff. Bangkok is astonishment, is amusement and pleasant times, it’s the perfect destination for you!
