San Diego beaches

Wet suited surfers and Chanel ladies
Beautifully located in the Pacific coast, San Diego is the southernmost city in California, home for more than a million inhabitants, many of them students. It has beautiful and paradisiac beaches, perfect weather, good nightlife and ethnic diversity, mainly because the city is placed just across the border with Mexico, Tijuana. San Diego and Tijuana form a conurbation, and share substantial economic, social and cultural interaction.

Although it is a big city, it is also very easy going place, without all the chaos that comes with the metropolis, keeping a constant good and peaceful vibe all over the place. The long kilometers of beaches allow the locals and the visitors to practice several activities, such as surfing, sailing, scuba diving, kayaking, and even whale watching. The gray whales migrate along the coast every February, and there are some places, such as Cabrillo National Monument, from where you can watch them, or you can even book a sailing tour with a private company to see them closer.

The things to see are also numerous, and you can start from the Old Town, with preserved buildings from the Spanish heritage. Going to the Downtown, you’re gonna experience a lot of restaurants, bars, and the hotspot of the nightlife. In the Balboa Park, you’ll see many museums, parks and gardens, and also the San Diego Zoo.

Enjoy the night scene of San Diego in the Gaslamp Quarter, in the downtown and Pacific Beach areas. It’s forbidden to sell alcohol after 2 AM, so you can expect bars and clubs to close after this time.

A must to see in America, the tropical paradise of the Pacific, you can’t miss the opportunity to visit this lovely city. Love San Diego and it will love you back!
