The Bath International Musical is also known as the Bath Music Fest. Annually Oyun Ä°ndir – Oyun Yükle each Summer ,held in South West of England, in Bath. It started back in 1948, directed by Ian Hunter, including many genres like jazz, folk, orchestral and electronica.

In the past the fest included also non-music events such a s talks and guided walks around the city, but these days focused on music. There was also Chorus held by Bath Festival , last performed on 2005.

This year its gonna take place 25 May – 5 June, the twelve day event blends stirring Festival themes are passion full, panache and playfulness.

The Festival will present world renowned performers like Billy Bragg, piper Kathryn Tickell, magnificent baritone Sir Willard White, jazz-rapper Soweto Kinch and the award-winning actress and singer Ute Lemper in a very special musical theatre event at The Forum. There will be numerous events commissioned specially for the Bath audience and a Family Friendly which means that all ages can get involved in the vibrant Bath MusicFest experience.

You can enjoy all kind of music starting from classical to jazz, world music and beyound, the Fest will present its extravaganza – Britain’s finest Roman city are graced with all the times world’s best music, over 2weeks.

Concerts feature world-famous and up-and-coming artists from around 30 different countries, along with world music, jazz and contemporary music weekends. It will feature a number of special commissions, films, talks and exhibitions.

Joanna MacGregor – the internationally renowned musician – has been the Festival’s Artistic Director since 2006. Joanna has rejuvenated the programme, balancing the connections between musical genres and world traditions,creating unique projects, focusing on a social issues.
