Hear the waterfall before you see it
If you like surfing and would like to relax in a great beaches, your place is El Algarve. This region of Portugal is characterized for having small beaches where practice all kind of water wind sports. Its the most touristic part of Portugal but you can find some smaller places for being quieter.The bright side is, that it’s a very cheap place for spending your holidays and you can go along the whole coast just in 3 hours by car. Three sights, that you must visit are: Sagres, the Tavira island and Pego do Inferno.It’s a small village called Sagres, that is in the corner of the iberic peninsula. This corner is called Cabo de San Vicente and its very nice to gaze at the ocean from the limit of the hearth, you can feel that you are at the the other side of the world.
Tavira island is visited during the whole year for many surfer from many different places around, the world. In summer there are some festivals where everyone meet up for practicing some sports during the day and at night get fun with live music.
The last but not least place that you must go to in Portugal, is Pego do Inferno. Its a lovely waterfall very, close to Tavira situated between rocks and a wonderful vegetation. You can hear the waterfall before see it and then, you will realize the charm of the place.
