Fifth of May Olympic Stadium
Everyone is talking about the summer Olympic games, and obviously all London and Londoners are preparing themselves for this big happening. Everybody is excited, but before that there will be a special Evening of Athletics and Entertainment at the Olympic Stadium. This is a great opportunity for you all to preview the Olympic Stadium before the London 2012 Games, and even be in with a chance of officially opening the venue!The London 2012 organisers are inviting a crowd of 40,000 people to an evening of athletics and entertainment at the stadium, where one audience member will be chosen to officially open the venue. There are organized also series of UK Athletics Invitational events, featuring some of Britain’s best athletes, who are hoping for a place in Team GB this summer.
So, what expects you? the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) Visa Outdoor Athletics Championships during the day and later in the eve, a celebrity host will be joined by famous faces including Olympians and Paralympians for an evening of stunts, games, challenges and prizes.
