The first thought that runs through your mind, if someone asks you to describe Paris? Definitely, Romantic! No matter which season it hosts, winter, autumn , summer or spring, Paris is number one in the world, being the most romantic city, seducing every moment of the year.The most recognizable monuments such as Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe, will gather you, standing sentinel above Paris’s most glamorous avenue, the Champs-Elysees, cathedrals and lamplit bridges, offering you free, probably most romantic walks you will ever experience, and of course of course, the so Parigian coffee shops and little bakeries on every corner, with gorgeous terraces. Even if you have never been to Paris, you can can feel it, just with imaginations.
In the fall, the days are getting shorter, but it won’t stop the capital to have as many as possible events going on, one of the brightest through November,apart famous art exhibitions,is Armistice Day , being a public holiday in whole country. A time, when most of the public offices will be closed, even the restaurants out of touristic areas, but sure, that the center with all cafes and bakeries will be wide open for romance seeking visitors from all over globe.
The day is to honor all those who died in World War I, protecting their country, military parades will be present and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Paris will be organized. Usually Armistice Day has a solemn mood, specially between elders, public figures such as the mister President will wreath and flower at the war memorials, prepared with little speech, most of the French will wear black clothes, they still take this day with as big responsibility as they possibly can, with a lot of respect for those ones, who fought for them as a country.

You will see the national flag everywhere in the capital and in all country, there is a Tomb, under the Arc de Triomphe in Paris ,with an unidentified soldier from the citadel of Verdu, who was burtries as a symbol of all those who died in World War I. Visit Paris, enjoy the entire capital of arts, fashion and romance, be Parigian, get a baguette and leave it in your pocket, do crazy stuff, drink wine, visit monuments, but do not forget to respect their culture and traditions, and enjoy the intimacy of Paris, that has been there through all these years, and it looks like it’s gonna be this way forever. French has something that the rest of the world should learn, a strong believe in their traditions and culture, being proud but not arrogant.
