One of the U.K.’s top outdoor events, The Royal International Air Tattoo, will take place on July 12th and 13th. The Air show will see over 300 aircraftS, including fast jets, giant transporters, historic aircraft and the legendary Red Arrows performing precision flying and acrobatic manoeuvres before a huge crowd below. Such is the scale of the event that over the weekend a team of almost 3,000 engineers, fire-fighters, medics, traffic controllers and volunteers will be on hand to get the show running.The Air Tattoo which began in 1976 has been a much loved and enjoyed family event throughout the decades with as much activity on the ground as in the air! There will be a chance for the young ones to meet pilots and sit in aircraft, classic car shows, a fun fair as well as an outdoor concert in the evening which is free to under 16s.
