THE LONGEST WORK OF ART

GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS PROJECT: THE LONGEST WORK OF ART IN THE WORLD CREATED BY A SINGLE ARTIST

Dale’s rainbow in a Guinness World Record work of art. A journey into the world of colors in a 5 km long rainbow stretched from the Forte dei Marmi, passing through Montignoso and arriving in Massa.
This is the undertaking of the young artist Luca Fruzzetti, aka Dale, to officially enter the Guinness World Records and symbolically mark the restart of culture and art in Italy.
The appointment is set for Saturday 5 September (in case of bad weather for Sunday 13) on the Versilia seafront, sidewalk and cycle path of the coastal avenue on the mountain side, where “The Walk of Peace” will be set up, which could become the work of longest art in the world created by a single artist, breaking the record of 3.3 km made in the USA.

GENESIS OF THE WORK

An installation with the colors of peace to bring a tangible message of hope and optimism in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This moment of great complexity also pushed art and culture to review their methods of action, for which an immersive experience in colors was imagined in which people could concretely experience a dimension of positivity towards the future.
The creative theme of the work is represented by fifty rainbows that follow one another alternating the simplicity of the reproductions with a heterogeneous range of themes such as peace and hope, empathy and diversity, environmental sustainability and trust towards the future.

CHOICE OF THE RAINBOW

“In recent months thousands of rainbows have been displayed outside the balconies of our homes, a brilliant representation of colors in stark contrast to the moment of darkness we are experiencing globally. The rainbow always leaves us with that pleasant feeling of wonder and amazement. Amazement and lightness that populate the work through graceful butterflies that flit between meadows and oceans of color.

PROJECT REALIZATION TIME

The design and construction took five months of work, completed thanks to the contribution of companies from all over Italy who have embraced the idea together with the Council of the Tuscany Region and the Municipalities of Forte dei Marmi, Montignoso, Massa.

THE ARTIST LUCA FRUZZETTI IN ART “DALE”

Born in Massa in 1993, son of the art master Maurizio Fruzzetti, since childhood he has been passionate about experimenting with colors, drawing and imagination.
Graduated in Psychological Sciences, he specializes in Communication Psychology at the University of Padua (2017). From 2017 to 2019 he matured in the Gucci world, where the creative environment led him to give life to the collection of pictorial works entitled Serendipity of Emotions.
Exploring the complexity of contemporary society is the stimulus to undertake a personal pictorial research, combining the traits of informal art and abstract expressionism with its own symbolic-emotional syntax.
Emotion is the individual, social and cultural expression of the self in a given historical moment, represented as a chromatic explosion.
The power of this representation, Emotional Painting, refers to the expressive force of Pollock, with incessant streaks of colors that subtend the imaginative dimension of Rorschach’s spots.
The world is perceived with the eyes of emotions in a kaleidoscopic interpretation of thoughts, people and landscapes.
His works have taken part in several collective and personal exhibitions, the main ones being Dubai, Rome, Milan, Carrara, Pisa, Forte dei Marmi and Venice.
