From 15th – 17th April in California will be held the Coachella Festival. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will feature more than 130 musical acts including Jay Z, Muse and the Gorillaz, Kings of Leon, Arcade Fire, The Strokes and much more from hip hop to rock and jazz, nearly every kind of music you can enjoy for almost all kind of taste for music. Since 1999, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has drawn massive crowds to the Empire Polo Field in Indio, and has grown to become one of the country’s most renowned music events. Compared with the old guard of British festivals like Reading and Glastonbury, the Coachella music and arts festival – inaugurated in 1999 – is barely out of short trousers. Nowadays it attracts people from all the world, everyone comes to desolate part of the Californian desert, some 125 miles east of Los Angeles. If you ask anyone why the festival is so special , and most of them will respond that it’s because of the location, its in the arid climes of Coachella valley and amazing panoramic views of the surrounding mountain.There is just one problem in this events, the temperature creep up to 35C, it might get heavy to stay there with bunch of drunk music fans, the desperately arid climes can create mild bouts of dust-pneumonia. It has fast become one of the most must see festivals in the USA. If you are lucky enough to have scored a ticket to the 2011 event you will be grooving to the likes of. There is gonna be also a light shows public art displays and tents where food and beverages will be sold.

As it was first held in October 1999, the festival was then held directly in April 2001 so that there would be fewer summer heat problems. Since then this event has become popular in the North America’s latgest festival list. Every year there are selected 10 artists for the thrilling entertainment. Last year it was on April and no single day tickets were given for the first time, even if the event programs are split in three days this year, you still will need to purchase the tickets for the full event.
