i-Hostels is an innovative network powered by InsideOut vzw; a new category of network in the world of hostelling. We give young creative travellers a chance to explore themselves in a wider European cultural and artistic dimension by stimulating international arts & cultural exchange and activity.
i-Hostels is an unique network that answers to the needs of many young travellers. This is the first initiative in the hostelling sector to unite independent hostels under a quality label of information, arts and culture. This network gives the hostels extra time, means and support to guarantee a quality service.
We give travellers a chance to stay in active information points where they get direct access to the local young or alternative arts and cultural life, connecting them with local artists, musicians, writers … and provide space for creation & experiment.
The i-Hostels Network works on three levels: Firstly, it is a specialized portal website containing quality information to visit, sleep and discover young (alternative) cultural & arts life in the city. Secondly it gives services, methods and informational packages to support the hostel and its travellers and thirdly it is a program for the hostels to become host places for young volunteers. Their task will be to assist in the hostel and to develop local projects on travel information, arts & culture.
It is the aim to position i-Hostels on the European hostel market as an unique quality brand and network on information, arts and culture as its keystones.
