The Sony Ericsson UK B-Boy World Championships (October 12th) features the world’s best break-dancers going head-to-head, toe-to-toe and for that matter elbow-to-knee at London’s Carling Academy Brixton. Over recent years this competition has developed more and more momentum becoming a hugely important date in the U K’s hip-hop calendar, building one of the most creditable reputations in the world.The competition generates an electric atmosphere giving the ultimate hip-hop vibe. Events include the Solo and Popper titles and the World 2 on 2 Locking Battle where four pairs of break dancers compete to see who has the true-skool skill.
The “can’t be missed†U K’s Trinity Warriors are one of the biggest attractions. They will battle it out against the top crews from the USA, Japan, Korea, Russia, China, Holland and Scandinavia for “floor supremacy†and the coveted title of B-Boy Break dance Champions of the World. Strap your fresh kicks on, make contact with your old UFOs and break-beat all the way to the show!
