Australian nightlife and festivals
Located on the south east coast of Australia’s Tasman Sea, Sydney is a jewel of a place. You can tour many of the sights around the city with the Manly Ferry – the ferry hits many of the large spectacles like the Sydney Opera House and the Habour Bridge. Once you hit land again, many people find the thrill in climbing the bridge, but it is highly recommended that one be fit and able before attempting such a task. If height is your thing, but the climb isn’t, try the Sydney Tower Walk, which shows you the breathtaking view of Sydney from above.Sydney is famous for its Open Air Cinema, which can be viewed almost every night during the summer. View classic movies from the seats and if you tire of them, you can just look over your shoulder to get a glimpse at the Sydney City Skyline, in itself is quite a view. The Open Air Cinema subscribes to what many other restaurants and cafes subscribe to: BYO or bring your own (alcohol).
The Australian city is filled with a thriving nightlife and festivals are never wont to have. Whale watching is particularly special here in the spring and summer, while in the winter Sydney boasts of its favorite festival: CarriageWork’s Winterland Festival. There you will find ice rinks, markets, and live music. But don’t think the rest of the year isn’t happening, with a little bit of research you’ll be sure to find your hearts content in Sydney.
