Recreativo de Huelva
Let’s talk about the oldest football team of Spain. Recreativo de Huelva F.C. Huelva is a city of the southwest of Spain where English people in the XIX century went for working in the copper mines, and in 1889 created the Recreativo de Huelva F.C., teaching to the workers of the mine play football.

The name of stadium is Nuevo Colombino, because Huelva is the city from where Cristobal Colom set sail for discovering America. You will see there the exactly copy of the ships which they sailed. Huelva is one of the nicest places of Spain where the sun is always bright.

Also if you go to Huelva in May or June, you can visit one of the most famous fair in the world, El Rocio. Pilgrims of many diferents places walk a long way for see the Rocio’s virgin. The pilgrims walk 2 days from Huelva until that small village where you can enjoy of a very beautiful views and treat with the people of the area who open their houses for everybody, offering typical food and drink,need to admit, that they are singing and dancing the typicals flamenco’s songs non stop.

If you go there you cant miss it! In addition to there you can eat and drink so cheap, just for 1€ you cant get a beer with a “tapa”, the small dishes of tipical spanish food like Spanish omelet, prawns of the coast, the best ham of the world “jamon iberico” and of course of “choco”, its a breaded and deep-fried cuttlefish very popular there. It’s very tasty and is included in dishes such as rice, pasta and fish stews.
