London is a great capital with thousands of events and festivals to attend. And February is not an exception. This metropolitan city has countless nations living in it, calling it their home, and also Russians. That’s why there is the Maslenitsa Russian folk festival in Trafalgar Square held, you can go and have fun with your friends, kids and all family if you like so.

Marking the end of winter, Maslenitsa combines a Russian Orthodox religious celebration with an older pagan festival welcoming the arrival of spring. The free Trafalgar Square festival features a marquee for children, dance and theatre performances, and music from across Russia. You and your kids will meet Russians with their culture and all the fun they can possibly offer. Take it and you won’t regret it.
