December is not far away, and so is Christmas, long awaited stress event that will set your nerves on fire, but English have always known how to take a joke out of it. And here it is, Santa Claus Run 2013, annually held on the 7th of December, with both 5km and a 10km route, santas of all abilities can get involved, and you get your santa suit for free. That’s all for charity, being one of the most popular Christmassy event in London, held at the beautiful and picturesque Victoria Park.

Also this year, hundreds of Santas will run through the Park, if you will take a place, which you surely can, you wont stop giggling while lining up with 3000 other santas, just to raise up pound for the charity. Thousands of people are expected to take part raising funds for hundreds of different charities and now this is your chance to join them! All you have to do, is to sign up for the run, there is no previous experience is needed for this fantastically festive day! Every person who runs the Santa Run raised 25 pounds ,allowing them to make a significant difference in the lives of people with disabilities. Take your best shape to the run, get your free Santa outfit, and be ready to make a very good job for those ones in a need, on this beautiful Christmas period, where everything should be about doing great things for great reasons.

Afterwards you will be relaxing with some mulled wine and Christmas cake, all the meaning of this event is to be a part of it, doesn’t matter how trained you are, it’s up to you whether your run, walk or jog as fast or as slow as you like, it’s all about fun. so take your family, friends, whatever you feel like and know that you are doing a very good thing, and afterwards,there is a cake, so do not miss it! Proceeds from the run will be donated to Home-Start, who help children get the best possible start in life.

Everyone will be there, children and adults with a range of disabilities including cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, visual impairment and autism can access programmes across the UK to enable them to make friends, improve their confidence and have fun through a sport which they would otherwise be excluded from. Just imagine to put the runners on, and beautiful santa dress, that will be so much fun, making this all so much easier. Join the Red and White bearded runners around one of the most beautiful parks in London and make a huge difference in someone elses lives. The spirit of the event is ‘taking part’ not ‘winning’.
