Sensibilities and sagas of Iceland

Midnight sun and symphony of natural beauties
Imagine a place, where the past meets the future, making a perfect harmony of present, the only elements existing will be wind, stone, ice and fire, Iceland…you sure have heard about many phenomenal things happening in Iceland all year long, I mean the day and night magic. Every year during the summer, around the June, midnight sun comes, when it remains for the full 24 hours, given fair weather. You will enjoy 24 hrs daylight, such a silent, when there are no cars, no movement, everyone is sleeping, and sun is shining non stop.

This natural phenomenon happens in June, when sun never fully goes down. But there is also a dark side of Iceland, literally, when night takes over and the only sunlight lasts 3 hours, the winter darkness is for three month, leaving the locals no other choice but to stay home or fish. But it won’t be Iceland without another miracle, Aurora Borealis, the so-called northern lights, this country has so diverse and phenomenal weather changes, giving you an impression that there is another world out there and it’s true.

Iceland is a mythical kingdom, with Arctic energy and elves, they live in a harmony next to an active volcano, with a veritable volcanic laboratory, they have learned to deal with the nature’s monster…Iceland has arctic gales swish along silent fjords, indigo sea and stone towers, ice cap glittering and lagoons…that’s nature of Iceland, one of the most unique and fascinating countries in Europe.

Living in Iceland is hard to stay indifferent you will immediately be touched by its awesome beauty, it’s a land that gives you a moment to stop and think about all you have and how small we actually are next to nature’s greatest beauty and power, it’s a land that turns skeptics into believers.

It might be tiny in population maybe because of the dark, but the people are the best, warm, honest and sincere, it will definitely be a soul-stirring visit…they are the opposite of the climate, offering cakes, biscuits, tea and hot chocolate. Ancient ruins mixed with modern set of pursuits, ease of life and laid back atmosphere, imagination and midnight sun, that’s the real Iceland you have been trying to discover.
