Vienna is the city of luxurious palaces and majestic squares, beautiful streets and countless parks. The Austrian capital with its thousand years history, thanks its galleries, concert halls and the world famous Vienna Opera become the European capital of culture.

You can find almost all types and kinds of art here. A lot of tourists are coming to this great city because of festivals, concerts and other cultural events, but the most popular one here is Viennese Ball. It’s a traditional event in Vienna during ball season which starts on November, but the most interesting events are on January -February.

Traditionally the first important ball is on New Year’s night in the Hofburg – the winter residence of the Austrian Habsburgs. But the most famous is Vienna Opera Ball which starts in the middle of the February and is usually attended by the country’s president. This is the only one which needs a dress rehearsal the day before.

In general, during the ball season in Vienna you can visit about 300 balls. It may be scores of different professions (“Ball Hunters,” “Ball Officials”, “Ball of Flowers” etc), of state and various cultural organizations etc.

The points are very popular among the tourists around all the world but local are visiting the it as well. Magnificently decorated halls, classical music, beautiful dresses, elegance and chic inspired and fascinates.
