Prague is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. It is also the historical capital of Bohemia. Prague is the fifth most visited European city after London, Paris, Istanbul and Rome.Since 1992, the historic centre of Prague has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
On the south-east corner of the Wenceslas Square, you can find The National. It has a permanent collection of natural scientific and historical collections (minerals, rocks, and meteorites).
At the heart of Prague’s Old Town, the majestic square presents several architectural styles such as gothic of the Tyn Church or baroque architecture of the St. Nicholas Church.
You may want to go to the top of the Town’s Hall tower to get a magnificent view of Staromestske namesti but keep in mind that the steps are narrow and steep, but you can always take the elevator!

Prague has one of Europe’s oldest Jewish cemeteries. The Jews were not allowed to bury their dead anywhere else. The lack of space caused the graves to be piled one on top of the other. It is located one block away from the famous Old-New Synagogue .
The Jewish Quarter in Prague attracts millions of tourists from all over the world each year. One of the most beautiful synagogues in Europe, the Spanish Synagogue is located in the Jewish section of Prague. The synagogue is one of the oldest buildings in Prague.
The beautiful Charles Bridge is lined with statues and lamp posts on either side. It crosses the river Vltava. The view from this bridge of both the city skyline and the river are stunning. You will find there musicians, street performers, artists and other vendors.
Located on a hilltop west of the River, The Prague Castle. If you are interested in doing a little climb up, you can walk up directly to the castle from Charles Bridge.
Many people don’t know how great Czech cuisine is. The traditional steamed bread dumplings with the freshest Pilsner on the planet is part of the experience. You will find that beer is drunk morning, noon and night not only in Prague’s bar and club, and that Czech beers are amongst the best and cheapest in the world.
