From the heart of Italy to the world, Colors for Peace is an immersive experience that celebrates the universal language of children’s visual expression, transforming art into a vehicle of hope and global connection. The exhibition unfolds in a fluid and enveloping journey, offering visitors the emotional experience of a collective voyage through the visions of children from over 150 countries.
The showcased artworks, carefully selected from more than 200,000 contributions, form a mosaic of dreams, aspirations, and messages of peace. They intertwine simple strokes with profound symbolism, blending spontaneity with thoughtful reflection. Each drawing, each color, is a piece of a shared narrative—an invitation to contemplation and collective responsibility.
At the heart of the exhibition stands The Globe, a tangible symbol of boundless creative unity, crafted from recycled paper collected by children. A fragile yet powerful representation, it tells the story of our planet’s cultural and environmental diversity.
Complementing the visuals, the anthem Peace, Peace – Colors for Peace enhances the exhibition’s emotional impact. This sound piece gathers the voices of children, transforming them into a song of unity.
The journey concludes with a multimedia archive, allowing visitors to explore past exhibitions—ranging from prestigious Italian landmarks such as the Pantheon, Capitoline Hill, and Colosseum to international showcases that have brought Colors for Peace to three Olympic Games, two World Expos, and multiple global summits.
More than just an exhibition, Colors for Peace is a living testament to children’s ability to envision and create a better world. It is a project that goes beyond display, urging action and inspiring simple, universal gestures to nurture the art of PEACE.
