And the Oscar goes to…..
Finally the wait is over, the day we’ve been waiting for a whole yearhas arrived.
Tonight we will know the name of the movies that showed us the best of
the film
industry in 2005.
It’s hard to guess which one will be the movie of the year. The
competition is on
and no signs have been cast to know in advance who will be running with the
oscar, for all the different types of titles.
One of the movies that is expected to sweep the night is Brokeback
Mountain, a
drama about two cowboys who in the 1960s start a relationship that
eventually
turns into an impossible love, with 8 nominations, including nominations
in three
very important categories Best Actor (Leading & Supporting), Best
Director, and
Best Movie of the Year.
Following with 6 nominations each are Memoirs of a Geisha, Good Night and
Good Luck, and Crash. Walk the Line with 5 nominations and Munich with
four are
on the top nominees.
The red carpet will be illuminated with an array of stars who are
competiting for the
highest prize an actor or actress can achieve. Needless to say, the
members of
the Academy had a though task this year in order to deliverate who is
the best
because the competition is very tight.
The world will get to know their decisions shortly but the only way to
find out is
watching….
