Chinese new year in Rome

Every year Chinese New Year change the celebration date, and in every capital you will find a Chinatown, and people who want to celebrate it, and so is Rome. In fact last year for 2011 celebrations, Chinese brought countless events in Rome, to introduce them their traditions and country, and so they did, more than 200events, including theatre, dance and diverse music, exhibitions in art, photographs and galleries.

This year it will be celebrated in 14th of January in Via del Corso and afterwards in Piazza del Popolo. Many famous Chinese artists are invited, so a lot of fun is guaranteed. Many attractions and various artists from Kung Fu and Italian dancers.

I will admit that it’s the most important celebration in China, so Chinese inhabitants in Rome, definitely will celebrate it with all their friends who will come over to celebrate it. This year the celebrations, which also mark the opening of the year of Chinese cultural in Italy, take place all over Italy, in Milan, Naples, Turin, Venice and Prato in Tuscany, famous for its large Chinese community.

You will enjoy per hundred per cent, there is a traditional dance expected and lions and dragons are scheduled from 18.00-22.00 with stunning fireworks. Also if you bring your family and friends, will be something unforgettable, you will see Via Del Corso crowded by people, and it will be unclear whether they are shopping because of the sale or taking a part in the celebration.
