Verona knows how to celebrate
Story of Romeo and Juliet started there, in this beautiful city in Italy, and if we think back when Shakespeare wrote this story, that was the beginning why people kept coming to the city and they still do , many of them, to see the scene of their great, but fictional, romance, so ot’s Him who brings the most people here. But still ,Verona is not overwhelmed by the tourist industry and its economic success largely due to its position at the crossing of the major routes from Germany and Austria to central Italy and from the west to Venice and Trieste.

We all know that Italians like to celebrate every little thing in their every day life, to make it a bit sweeter, they don’t need a huge reasons for that, whether is a kid’s party, Halloween, which is not famous at all, they do it, coming all together, chat, laugh a bit and celebrate. Verona certainly knows how to celebrate the whole year through, with entertainment coming in different forms, this historic city has its own vibrant calendar with traditional local festivals, that makes them proud of.

Verona also plays host to several large fairs and exhibitions, including Vinitaly. And one of the busiest months in year is December of course as in many cities, Christmas lights, Christmas trees and markets, god mood, smiley faces and sure a bit of stress. Those ones who love the romantic story and love to see it again and again, will enjoy Romeo and Juliet.

Rassegna dei Presepio and La Stella di Natale – held in the Arena di Verona every December. As well as a display of over 400 nativity scenes, featuring a huge sculpture of a star – heralding the arrival of the Christmas festivities in the city Santa Lucia – mid-December, until the night Santa Lucia on the 13th December, sees the arrival of stalls selling toys, sweets and Christmas gifts in Verona’s Piazza Bra . Also Spring comes with colorfull events and festivals, during the Summer, Verona is a tourist magnet, can’t get more beauty than in this romantic city.
