Gay Open Tennis, Milan

Homosexual Tennis Players
Italy is no doubt the capital of the fashion and great taste, no matter what someone says, they also have the best cuisine in the world, the gelato is melting in your mouth and tasting the real cream in every flavour possible.

Clothes, chocolate, pasta and so much more represents this Latino country where people understand each other by hand gestures, where entering in the house you will hear screams but it’s a normal family conversation to be understood…mothers who show their infinitive love to their children until death leave them apart, where men go mad for football and could leave everything behind just to watch the match.

There are so many particular things, that Italy represents and one of them are gays…yes, they are very open, accepted and successful in here, even if it seems a very old fashioned country with boundaries …so gays have a lot of rights here, specially in Milano, where is fashion and most of the successful people in the fashion are gay with their great taste and attitude. So every year there is a Gay Open Tennis going on, started at 29th of August and having the last day today, the 2nd of September, making a great meeting point in Milano in indoor clay courts.

It’s considered to be the grand slam for gays and lesbian tennis enthusiasts, organised by A.T.OMO – the Association of Homosexual Tennis Players. Attracting around 150 players, open to men and women, who can compete in following divisions: high intermediate tournament players;low intermediate and beginner tournament players;and beginner players with little tournament experience.
