The iconic city of Manchester is located in the North West of England and it is one the most famous cities in the world and commonly known for its great football teams.

Manchester is the third most visited city in the United Kingdom, behind London and Edinburgh. Getting around the city has never been a problem for tourists, due to its famous tram line services, which were the first modern light tram line to hit the United kingdom back in 1992.

Tourists can explore the wonders of iconic Manchester, from its amazing shopping malls to the famous stadium of old Trafford. Manchester has much more culture to offer other than football stadiums and shopping centres. Other points of interests are the John Rylands library, heaton park,Urbis and the Albert hall, and not forgetting the wheel of Manchester, which is Manchester’s answer to the London eye.

The poorest of slums surrounding the church have been replaced by the tall office buildings of the new commercial centre of Manchester. In recent years, the rapid regeneration of the city centre has revitalised the old victorian heart of the city.

For shoppers, Manchester is home to the second largest shopping mall in England, the Trafford centre is a large indoor shopping centre and leisure complex located in dumplington street, greater Manchester. It has over 280 stores spread out through 4 floors.

Manchester has two rival football teams, the world famous Manchester united and Manchester city. Tourists from all over the world come here just to visit the Theatre of dreams, and old Trafford has much to offer, being the biggest football ground in England.

Iconic Manchester is also known as the birthplace of famous bands including Oasis and Take that, who have played at the great Manchester arena .The Manchester arena is the largest arena of its type in Europe.

Manchester is full of bars, clubs, football pubs and restaurants, so nightlife seekers will never be disappointed.
