Once the All Saints Day and Halloween are passed, it’s high time to think about…Christmas! Christmas is not only about sitting and eating, you can have a whole lot of fun on snow or…on ice! It doesn’t require any equipment or experience to have fun. The open-air ice rank in the Old Town Square is easily accessible, relatively cheap, there is skates rental and you can experience an extraordinary atmosphere. Imagine ice-skating surrounded by all the historical buildings, with Christmas lights and music, holding a hand of your partner, friend or even mum, advent time is all about living a pleasant, warm dream. 

Czech Republic capital is told to be settled under a lucky star. As a myth says there was an old druid living in the forests over the Vltava River, back in the times when fields and woods were all you could find in this lands. One night while wandering among trees he had a strong vision and told the villagers to found a city over the river, cause that city and its splendour will reach the stars.
